Flowers in Her Hair Updo

Toddler Girls Hairstyle - Flowers in Her Hair Updo
 toddler-flowers-in-her-hair-hairstyle-front.jpg

For this formal flower girl updo, your little girl needs to have long hair – to about the middle of her back.  Once she has a full head of bouncy curls, we put her hair up on the top of her head and allowed the curls to fall naturally.  This gives a casual, yet elegant flower girl updo.  Using flowers similar to babies breath, we made a diminutive wreath and encircled this flower girls updo to create a carefree girls hairdo!

Supplies Needed for this Hairstyle:

1. Your favorite way to give lasting curls
2. Ponytail holder
3. Wide toothed comb
4. Small fresh or silk flowers

Step #1:

Give your little girl lasting curls. I used Curls for Girls, but you may use a hot curling iron, or old fashioned sponge rollers.

Step #2:

Using a wide toothed comb, smooth her hair up to the top of her head to give her a ponytail on the ver top of her head and secure with a ponytail holder.

Step #3:

Finally, tuck mini flowers around the "ponytail" using the ponytail holder or if necessary bobby pins to secure the flowers.
